Hola peeps! Well NYFW has come to a close however I still have lots of shows, events and pics to share. Today I am showing Diane von Furstenberg’s SS15 show which was earlier this week. I just adore DVF as her collections are always so chic yet very wearable and this one didn’t disappoint. Prepare to see lots of graphic prints, bright yellow and floor grazing dresses. Take a peek and let me know if you love it just as much as I do. Enjoy!
Hola peeps! NYFW is still going strong and it is Day 6! Today’s look is all about being chic and classy. In the past the rule has been that sequins were reserved for formal events but in the fashion world rules are made to be broken. I say they can be rocked during the day or night and dressed up or down. I paired this skirt with a knit pullover with an embellished collar, Jimmy Choo nude pumps and flashy accessories to elevate the ensemble. Oh you can’t do New York Fashion Week without your iPhone, so you may as well spruce that up with a Henri Bendel cover that pays homage to lady liberty herself. Love!
I hope that you are enjoying the posts as I have tons of coverage and pics coming your way!
Hola peeps! I’m diving right in and sharing with you the Desigual Spring/Summer 2015 show. This was one of my faves so far! I loved the bright colors, the fun music and all the models of different ethnicities having a blast walking the runway. I must admit I rarely shop at Desigual but this collection has definitely peaked my interest, they just may see me in the Spring. Take a peek. Enjoy!
Hola peeps! Day 2 of NYFW is done however I must showcase one of my fave designers- Rebecca Minkoff (of course). Based on her collection it looks like spring is going to be filled with a light color palette, big sun hats and tons of handbags embellished with tassels! I have always adored her and the brand it truly is the epitome of a cool Cali girl with a twist of NY spice. Take a peek and the run of the show and let me know your thoughts. Oh and don’t forget you watch the shows via live stream here. Enjoy!
Hola! Max Azria showed his BCBG Spring/Summer 2015 collection on Day 1 of NYFW. It was filled with flowy dresses, culottes and kimonos all in pale and pastel tones! I loved the look it is refreshing to designers going back to basics and nude tones after several seasons on bright colors and prints. Take a peek and let me know what you think.
*Also don’t forget if you can’t make it to NY for the festivities keep abreast of all happenings and shows by going here –> http://newyorkfashionweeklive.com/live Enjoy!
Hola! Across the pond in London fashion week has begun yet I am still giving you New York goodness here, so continue to read on. I had the honor of attending the Deola A/W ’14 presentation during NYFW and it didn’t disappoint. The Nigerian designer’s collection was a mixture of chic and whimsical. I see that she pulled a bit from her heritage by using big bold prints and details. My fave is the last dress with Nelson Mandela on it—fab! Let me know your thoughts.
Hola! New York Fashion Week still has a few days left and I am here to share a fab presentation that I attended over the weekend—5:31 Jerome //FW”14. The fashion event was held at the chic Inglot Studios near Chelsea Market and it was jammed packed! The collection consisted of oversized coats, wool blazers, funnel neck cropped tops and cutout dresses to name a few. Keep scrolling to take a peek for deets.
I see a few pieces that I wouldn’t mind adding to my wardrobe. What about you? Do tell.
