And the nomination goes to moi…

Hola peeps!  I received great news that made me feel all warm inside—much thanks to Styln for nominating SNC for The Versatile Blogger award.  Being that I have only been blogging for a year and half now and to be nominated is such a wonderful honor. I am happy that my content is being read and enjoyed by others—makes me feel appreciated.

The future goals of SNC is to continue to share new and interesting happenings in the world of fashion and natural hair.  Look out for more event/show coverage, expansion into new business ventures and a closer look at my personal style.  I hope that you stay tuned as 2012 is going to be an exciting year!  Thanks to you all :o)

  1. Thanks sooo much for the nom!!! And you are so deserving as well! LOL at #1. I feel you on needing that country fix. I was raised in rural IL and you talk about good times…land for days, 4 wheelers, horses the whole brother still live out where we grew up and I love going home for the barbecues etc…but the best part about it all is….the silence at night…just listen to the crickets go back and forth at one another….priceless.

  2. Congrats!! As I said on my blog (comment reply) I love your blog as well and you deserve a big nod!! You always have fresh, interesting and fun things to see and learn about, as well as great advice about handling our natural hair! I expect to see great things happen for you in the near future! You go girl!

OMG! I was a semi-country girl too! My uncle George owned a dairy farm here in MI and I spent summer vacations there learning about nature and doing farm chores. I often think back about the fun I had on the farm and the wonderful family memories we created there.

    1. Again, thank you so much it as I greatly appreciate it! Yes sometimes I crave the slower pace of the country life but I know now that I have a bit too much of NYC in me to go backwards for good :o) Def a nice vaca spot though.

Sound Off Peeps...what do you think?
