Do U Like?—Calder T-Strap Heels by 3.1 Phillip Lim

Hola!  As I have mentioned before heels are super cute but they are NOT practical for running around NYC.  Sad to say I don’t have the luxury of dipping in and out of taxis nor do I have a car to drive which would allow me to rock 4 in heels on the daily.  However, if I were able to do so then this pair would be the ones I would live in!  These leather platform pointed toe T-strap pump with stamped snakeskin vamp and adjustable ankle strap by 3.1 Phillip Lim are sick **in a good way of course**!  Here is a snippet of what Phillip Lim had to say about his 3.1 brand:

“3.1 is about clothes that refine instead of define. A refinement that’s a bit classic in attitude, but imparts a sense of individual style, without looking or feeling forced. Confident, unidentifiable, chic and most of all effortless,”

Love it!  So do you like?  Go to Barneys here to buy!

  1. I stop at a two inch heel height for running around anywhere! I don’t have a car, nor can I afford to hop in and out of cabs, so I’m usually walking and/or riding the bus. I need for my feet to feel good or my whole day is shot! My favorite brand for “mini heels” is Nine West. They’re affordable and, most importantly, comfortable.

    1. I agree with the lower the better, my limit is 3in and that is on a good day…lol. I love the look of heels just not the pain that they give…lol!

  2. Yep, I love these shoes. They remind me of Jackie O or Audry Hepburn (No, I am only 28… j/k). I can see myself wearing down the ‘tap’, though. Does anyone have any solutions to how to make your ‘taps’ last on your shoes? I have a closet full of pumps that are in desperate need of a shoe doctor….

    1. Hi! Yes they do resemble shoes/heels of an era where everything was proper..haha. I love them! My only suggestion about the tap is to replace it every season. I usually take heels/boots to a cobbler and have them repaired at the beginning of the season that I plan to wear them.

Sound Off Peeps...what do you think?
