Do U Like—Bop Basics Turban Headband

Hola peeps!  I hope that you all had a very blessed, safe, and fun holiday.  I sure did, as I covered 4 states and 6 cities all in 3 days **note even counting the states that we rode through**!  Insane I know but it was worth it to see family and friends that I hadn’t seen in such a long time. Back home and back to biz it is!

Check out this Bop Basics Turban Headband that I am loving.  As cute as they look on others I was always a little weary of the turban trend *craze* for myself.  However, after seeing this hot pink number I just may give it a try.  Not sure If would rock this with my curlz or not but I can definitely make it work somehow.  So what are your thoughts—Do U Like?  If so, go here for deets…bonus: this comes in 7 colors.  Happy Shopping!

On My Radar—Sequins

Hola peeps!  I hope that your weekend is going great.  Just sharing today what has been on my radar as of late—Sequins!  I don’t know what it is but I blame the upcoming holiday season that is peaking my interest for all things sparkly.  Here are a few options that I feel can be worn at any time and almost anywhere.

To rock these dresses (White- Alice + Olivia and Gold- Gryphon) during the day pair them with a structured cropped blazer/jacket, opaque tights and a chunky platform heel similar to the one the model is wearing or these by Theyskens’ Theory.  For a night out simply ditch the blazer and tights, add a strappy stiletto and finish it off with a fab envelop clutch.

BB Dakota Royale Sequined Jacket

The sequined pants by Alice + Olivia were the first to catch my eye, love that they are flared.  These are perfect when styled with a high platform heel, a rich deep burgundy turtleneck like Rachel Pally’s here.  Throw on a big floppy hat and a hobo bag for a laid-back 70s vibe to finish your day look.  These pants at night are showstoppers period.  The styling options are endless so wear them how you see fit.  As for the silver jacket **which reminds me of the Soul Train Disco ball but in a good way** is so versatile.  Skinny jeans, a leather mini like this cute one by Parker, or a maxi dress can all be paired with this fab coverup.

Naturals in Ads—Shopbop

Hola peeps!  I am here stuck inside and waiting on Irene.  I pray that God watches over us all here in NYC and all areas affected. To take my mind off things and since I still have power SNC will continue on.  Here is a natural with gorgeous curly/wavy hair and she is rocking a Hanii Y Plaid Coat with Knit Cape that I think would be a perfect addition to my fall wardrobe—Shopbop showing love!

What I’m Diggin Today- Alex and Ani Jewelry

Hola!  I hope that you all are enjoying your Sunday.  I am surely trying to kick back a bit before the work week starts!  I wanted to share what I am diggin, I know that is usually a Wednesday type of thing but I couldn’t wait ;o) I was checking out shopbop.com and came across these gorgeous bangles by Alex and Ani.  Anyone that really knows me understand how much of an accessory junkie I am.  So when my eyes caught their jewelry line I was immediately in heaven!  The eco-friendly as well as budget conscious line consist of bangles, rings, necklaces and earrings all using some form of wire and exotic stones.  Here is the company’s mission statement from their site:
