Hola! Happy Friday! What are your weekend plans—going out with your beau, shopping with the girls or just relaxing?! Whatever it is please take note of today’s sass—Love The Way You Look. Ladies, we are often so harsh on ourselves when it comes to appearance. We want our hair to be right, outfit on point and face to be beat…while that is all good (it is important to look presentable) we must remember to love ourselves. There is no need to fret because nobody is perfect. I think that it is best to accept yourself as is and go with the flow. It will be so much easier that way. So throw on your #NoFilter sweatshirt with pride and show the world what you’re really working it. Have a fab and fun weekend!
Hola! Happy Friday! Can you believe that it is August already?!? If you are shopping around in the stores you would think that we were well into fall. All of the summer merchandise is on sale and fall clothes are hitting the racks. Today’s sass—Purple Passion is a look that can easily transition from warm weather into cooler temps. We only have a limited amount of weeks left in summer; why not get dressed, go out and enjoy it!
Hola peeps! Happy Friday! I don’t know about you but I am really diggin the Black and White trend for Spring. Today’s sass—Black & White All Over shows just how easy it is to pull the look off. Throw on a graphic tee, striped jeans, Proenza Schouler clutch topped off with a pair of retro J’s…POW! This look is cool and comfy, perfect for a Friday night out with your amigas. Enjoy your weekend!
Hola peeps! Are you ready for this? Target has announced that they will be collaborating with 24 CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) Designers as well as Neiman Marcus for a massive capsule collection that will launch on December 1st–just in time for the holiday season. Take a peek at the designers that are participating:
Alice + Olivia
Band of Outsiders
Diane von Furstenberg
Oscar de la Renta
Rag & Bone
Each designer created one to three pieces and the prices are set to be between $7.99 and $499.99, with the majority being below $60. Expect to see party frocks, home decor, sporting goods and more! Target stated they will drop product details in October but I hope for a few hints along the way.
Can we all pause while I do a happy dance..haha! Seriously this is major and I hope that Target and Neiman Marcus manages this well, by this I mean—amp up your server so there are no online shopping issues, please stock/restock the stores properly and set a purchase limit per customer. I am sorry but every single time there is a designer collab with Target people get crazy, buy out the store and unfortunately some folks gets left out *ME*.
On that note who’s down? Will you be shopping on Dec 1st? Do tell…

Hola! I hope that your weekend is off to a great start. You may or may not have seen Proenza Schouler’s Fall 2010 Campaign by Harmony Korine, if not then may be delighted or taken back. Honestly I see the beauty of the women (lots of naturals) and how the designer’s clothing is brought to life by them yet on the other hand I see why some feel that this is another stereotypical thing that focus on racism and all things supposedly “Black”. Some say that the cursing and southern twang could have been left out but to me that makes it more real/add more feeling. This campaign was shot in Nashville, Tennessee and they even used a few locals as the models. What are you thoughts?
