Holiday Dressing Look #3—Relaxed

Hola peeps!  I hope all is good.  While typing this post I am watching a mini-series, packing, prepping my hair and more…can we say multi-tasking to the fullest.  Here is another holiday look—Relaxed.  I know that some want to be comfy on Christmas day as you open gifts and stuff your tummy with goodies so why not adorn yourself with one of the hottest trends of the season- military!  Here I paired a camo jacket, (my fave) a graphic tee with the perfect message and finished with cap-toe combat boots.  As Jourdan Dunn shows here keep the make-up simple and natural.  Whatever you decide to rock on Christmas I wish you many blessings…enjoy!

Monday’s Muse—Inna Modja

Hola!  Welcome to Monday!  Today’s muse is the gorgeous Malian-French singer/model- Inna Modja *Inna Bocoum her real name*.  Born in Bakamo, Mali of a Fulani family with seven children; she started singing at the young age of 6 in the choir.  Inna is so talented that she was easily able to adapt to singing in different music genres (heavy metal, swing, disco…) however she has since settled on pop soul.  Take a look at the pics…true beauty!

She is simply beautiful and the hair- LOVE!  Check out her video “I’m Am Smiling”…she makes us natural chicas proud.  Enjoy!

Hola!  Welcome to Monday, I hope that you had a fab weekend!  The crazy heat kept me inside for majority of it, yet I was able to sneak out for a bit on Friday.  Stay tuned for a post coming soon.  However, back to the matter at hand—Monday’s Muse is Erykah Badu.  I have always been a huge fan of her hair, whether it was braided, loc’d, blown straight or in an afro.  However these pics are some of my faves especially the blow-out!  It is tempting me to reach for a blowdryer….wow!  Enjoy!

Sephora says wear “Vivid Brights” this Summer

Hola peeps!  I hope all is good.  Did you know that Sephora has a new YouTube channel?  I don’t know how I missed that one.  As mentioned before I am not much of a make up chica, however I cannot do without my Sephora High glosses in #04 and #07 as well as my BareMinerals Mineral Veil.  Oh and I must not leave out that I buy my CD Tui and Shea Butter Oil Sheen from there as well.  It is pretty cool they have how-tos, product reviews, fan videos and more!  The video I have chosen to feature is their makeup trend pick of Summer 2011—”Vivid Brights“.

Hola!  Welcome to another week, I hope that you had a fab weekend.  Today’s beautiful muse hails from Turks and Caicos Islands and is a newcomer to the modeling world yet she works it just like a pro—Chrishell Stubbs.  I am sure that you have seen tons of mag editorials of her or perhaps in ads such as GAP, H&M, Ralph Lauren and the list goes on.  She definitely has the beauty and seemingly a humble personality to make it big.  Speaking of which check out those BIG luscious curls of hers—gorg!!
