Target x Neiman Marcus x CFDA Designers = Massive Collab

2012_7_neiman-target-logo.jpgHola peeps!  Are you ready for this?  Target has announced that they will be collaborating with 24 CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) Designers as well as Neiman Marcus for a massive capsule collection that will launch on December 1st–just in time for the holiday season.  Take a peek at the designers that are participating:

Each designer created one to three pieces and the prices are set to be between $7.99 and $499.99, with the majority being below $60.  Expect to see party frocks, home decor, sporting goods and more!  Target stated they will drop product details in October but I hope for a few hints along the way.

Can we all pause while I do a happy dance..haha!  Seriously this is major and I hope that Target and Neiman Marcus manages this well, by this I mean—amp up your server so there are no online shopping issues, please stock/restock the stores properly and set a purchase limit per customer.  I am sorry but every single time there is a designer collab with Target people get crazy, buy out the store and unfortunately some folks gets left out *ME*.

NYFW Designer Pick—Oscar de la Renta

Hola!  I hope you all have enjoyed the fashion week ride as it is coming to an end here in NY.  However, not without my last designer pick—Oscar de la Renta.  I took one look and all I could say was WOW!  The use of beautiful fabrics/textiles—fur, tweed, knits and let’s not forget the color—soft pink, baby blue, bright yellow simply blew me away.  The entire collection has a touch of vintage Oscar yet with a feel of a young fashion forward woman.  The pretty models **I spy Joan Smalls, Anais Mali, and Jordan Dunn**  all adorned a neatly tucked coif with a flawless nude face. 

Mr. de la Renta is a force to be reckoned with and the fashion industry respects that.  There aren’t many designers that has the staying power and is able to remain true to their brand yet advance into the future.  Love it!

Friday Sass—Oh Oscar!

Hola!  Finally it’s Friday! Today’s sass is filled with so much color, luxe fabrics and oozes style from fab designer—Oscar de la Renta.  These looks are all from his Pre-Fall 2012 collection and all I can say is Oh Oscar!  If I could afford it would I buy every single piece.  I opted to show the pretty dresses from the line as it fits right in with the flamboyant dress code of the holiday season.  However, it sucks that we won’t be able to get our hands on beauties until next year.  Oh well, at least we get ideas for now.  Enjoy!
