Friday Sass—Style Me Pretty

Hola!  Finally it’s Friday!  I hope that you have lots in store for a fab weekend and to kick it off here is a bit of sass—Style Me Pretty featuring Jennifer Lopez.  I adore the comfort of throwing on a maxi dress with sandals yet there are times when you want to dress up and look pretty.  This look is perfect for that night when you want to do just that!  A Herve Leger dress is what you need to hug curves, diamond studs add elegance, Casadei platform pumps for sex appeal and topped off with Deseo perfume by JLO herself for a dash of sass. Target x Neiman Marcus x CFDA Designers = Massive Collab

2012_7_neiman-target-logo.jpgHola peeps!  Are you ready for this?  Target has announced that they will be collaborating with 24 CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) Designers as well as Neiman Marcus for a massive capsule collection that will launch on December 1st–just in time for the holiday season.  Take a peek at the designers that are participating:

Each designer created one to three pieces and the prices are set to be between $7.99 and $499.99, with the majority being below $60.  Expect to see party frocks, home decor, sporting goods and more!  Target stated they will drop product details in October but I hope for a few hints along the way.

Can we all pause while I do a happy dance..haha!  Seriously this is major and I hope that Target and Neiman Marcus manages this well, by this I mean—amp up your server so there are no online shopping issues, please stock/restock the stores properly and set a purchase limit per customer.  I am sorry but every single time there is a designer collab with Target people get crazy, buy out the store and unfortunately some folks gets left out *ME*.

NYFW Designer Pick Day 4—Diane Von Furstenberg

Hola!  Today is the 5th day of NYFW and we are still going strong!  However, let’s take a peek at my fave from day 4—Diane Von Furstenberg.  I must first say that Ms. DVF looked fab on the runway, chic as always.  This collection is much different from what we are used to seeing from her; as there were tons of color-blocking, puzzle pieces prints, and leather elbow length gloves all stood out on the runway.  I am lusting over all of the brights!  I say why wait until Fall I see these color combos in my Spring wardrobe line-up.  What are your thoughts?

NYC—DVF Sample Sale is coming!

Hola!  You guys know I love a bargain and especially one that consists of designer digs on the cheap. This time the designer is Diane Von Furstenberg gracing NYC with her iconic wrap dresses.  I love DVF unfortunately my wallet doesn’t like her but with this sale we all may be able to be one big happy family…haha.  The sale starts next Tuesday and ends on Friday.  Check the dates and times below….hope to see you there!

My Spring 11 Pick—Diane von Furstenberg

Hola! I know that any of us can hardly think about Spring with snow storms, cold temps, and drenching wet weather across the nation but it is always nice to know that these days aren’t forever.  The sunshine and warmth are sure to come back around and that is when we can shed the heavy garbs and reach for lighter weight fabrics.  Enough said….my daydreaming has drawn me to the Spring 11 collection from Diane von Furstenburg.  All I can say is B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L!

It has the ease of a careful vacation, the colors are so vibrant, and the prints are wild yet subtle.  I would live in this entire collection if I could.  DVF’s clothing has a way of bringing out the sexy and sophisticated woman in us all.  Check out her show from Spring 11 NY Fashion Week.  Enjoy!
