Hola! Happy hump day to you all! I’ve said it before and I will say it again Solange was born to model, she gives face even when she isn’t trying to! No discredit to her musical side but this is her true calling. She was stunting over at the Cannes Film Festival a few days ago in an all white Stéphane Rolland jumpsuit. One word–flawless! Do you agree?
Hola! Once again Target bringing you another collaboration this time it is with Sam & Libby (economical brand of Sam Edelman). They announced it back in November however the line will be debuting this Sunday, May 5th. Surprisingly there hasn’t been a lot of buzz about this duo, nonetheless it is happening and I am pretty excited. As the temps continue to climb I’ve been on the prowl for cute sandals; now I can take my pick from gladiators, flats, platform heels and thong sandals. The prices are right too starting at only $25……perfect! Take a peek and let me know if you will be picking up a pair. Enjoy!
Hola! Today I am sharing one of my favorite lines for S/S 2013—Stella Jean. She is a young and super talented Italo-Haitian designer that started out as a model but eventually followed her heart to design clothes. A great deal of her inspiration comes from her multiculturalism and it shows! Here is an excerpt form the site:
“A brave and sophisticated collection which conceptually and instinctively overcomes all time and space boundaries, going towards new and exciting destinations. The theme of the journey, together with sociocultural suggestions, shapes a collection that has bon-ton humour as conditio sine qua non. A serious but still light-hearted exercise that matches those two “primary colours” with all the nuances in the world, with limitless grace and futuristic ladylike suggestions. The outfits on the catwalk prove the extraordinary richness of the multicultural roots of their designer, through a singular and intensely suggestive style.”
Take a peek at the bright colors, prints and patterns…j’dore!

Hola! Fashion mega brand Louis Vuitton has a new addition to the family—Noé BB. The original Noé bag was created in 1932 and was designed for a champagne vintner who wanted a carryall for his valuable bottles. Years later the bags can be seen on the arm of stars, fashion icons and models; the Noé BB will serve that same purpose yet in a smaller size and longer cross-body strap. Don’t worry you will still be able to carry your essentials but won’t be weighed down with the size.
They come in the signature canvas monogram and epi leather colors. If you are interested get on the list now because they will be available in May! Prices are available upon request, (866) VUITTON. Happy shopping!

What do you think of her look? Do U Like?
I had to sneak in this pic of her and I from NYFW in February. This was at the Boy Meets Girl Fashion show. She was so nice!

Hola! Yes NYFW has ended but I have plenty of reviews in store for you. First up is the fun and innovative line—William Okpo. The designers are super cool sisters Darlene and Lizzie. This was not a traditional fashion show but a presentation in which I thoroughly enjoyed.
The F/W 2013 collection had muted colors filled with lots of patterns and textures. It was a mixture of lady-like preppy with button shirts and pencil skirts to casual and sporty with varsity style jackets. My fave piece was the uber-luxe fur jacket (not sure if it is faux) shown in the first pic. The makeup was fairly simple with thick dark brows and red pouty lips. I loved that big messy buns ruled the hair for the night!

This line is young and fun…perfect for hipsters! What are your thoughts? Do tell.
Hola! People think that NY’ers go hard, please the fashion crowd goes harder! Even Nemo the Blizzard couldn’t stop day 3 of NYFW from going down. One of my fave designers–Mara Hoffman showed today. She never misses the mark, as I want every piece that came down the runway. You can always expect her collection to be fun and filled with colorful ethnic prints and patterns. Hoffman states– ”I wanted to embrace what we do best with this collection and give our girls what they love most – color, print and wearable yet unique silhouettes.” She definitely achieved that, don’t you agree? Enjoy the show!
