Hola! NYFW is winding down and I can finally catch my breath for a moment and share all of the madness of the best fashion week of ALL fashion weeks! Here is one of my faves the uber-chic Tracy Reese. She never disappoints for NYFW and always rep American designers very well. I adore everything about this collection—color, texture, layers and lots of sass! Looks like SS13 is going to be a fun one…enjoy!
Hola! NYC is hustling and bustling with models, designers, and style enthusiast hungry with fashion week mania. Here is one of my fave designer duos—Cushnie et Ochs. The SS13 collection was heavy in black/white pieces with a dash of blue in the mix. I really like the simplicity of each piece—the long lines and cutout silhouettes are gorge! A job well done by the designers, as we all can look forward to contemporary elegance as the tone for next Spring/Summer. What are your thoughts?
Hola! Just when you thought fashion week was over we hit ya with another one—video that is. J Stynze Entertainment has put together a preview of the shows we covered during NYFW A/W 2012. Hey better late than never right?!? Anna Francesca, Carlos Luna, Don Christian Laurence and more are some of the designers that you will see. Check it out and be sure to come back for the finished product. Enjoy!
Hola! Couture Fashion Week was held at the fab Waldorf-Astoria Hotel over the weekend. I attended the 8pm show on Saturday night. The Waldorf oozes glam and it was the perfect setting for the show. The designers featured were Jet Art Designs by Princess Tarinan Von Anhalt and Andres Aquino; both were really awesome! There were lots of usage of color, rich fabrics/textures, and a big lean towards the arts. I think that the artistic style of Jet Art Designs denim can take you from glam to casual-cool. The uber-luxe collection by Aquino is reserved for your most fab event—when you want to dress to impress.
Enjoy the snaps below as this is just the beginning, we have many more pics and videos to come. Much thanks to my partner in fashion J Stynze Entertainment for all of the images. Stay tuned!
Hola peeps! We are quickly approaching the end of fashion week, tomorrow is the last day…boooo! As tiring as it can be NYFW is one of my fave times of the year in the city. However, don’t fret because I am attending Couture Fashion Week and Don’Christian Laurence shows this weekend so stay tuned.
Moving along to today’s designer pick—Zac Posen. I adore his designs so much because they are always ultra-glam! His Fall 2012 collection gave us just that with a lean towards the East with an asian inspired theme; gorgeous gowns in luxe fabrics and colors seem to float down the runway. I envision many celebs will be adorned in a Posen frock come award season in the Fall. Love love. Enjoy!
Hola peeps! Nolcha Fashion Week is always a big part of NYFW, as they showcase upcoming independent designers. Usually I attend each season however this time J Stynze Entertainment covered the show for me since I couldn’t make it. Check out these few pics, don’t fret many more will follow. I hope that you enjoy the sneak peek and stay tuned fashion heads a detailed report is coming soon!
Hola! Today is the 5th day of NYFW and we are still going strong! However, let’s take a peek at my fave from day 4—Diane Von Furstenberg. I must first say that Ms. DVF looked fab on the runway, chic as always. This collection is much different from what we are used to seeing from her; as there were tons of color-blocking, puzzle pieces prints, and leather elbow length gloves all stood out on the runway. I am lusting over all of the brights! I say why wait until Fall I see these color combos in my Spring wardrobe line-up. What are your thoughts?
Diane looking extra fab in color-block!
Love this Aqua and Red color combo!
This yellow is beaming hot!
Black with a splash of metallic---I can dig it!
It wouldn't be DVF without fun prints!
This pant suit is giving me life---although I think I would rock it with a hot red high heel!
- Fuschia pants + apple green halter = yum!
Hola peeps! Well we are on the third day of fashion week but we must review Day 2. My fave designer pick is Rebecca Minkoff! If you frequent this site you know that we are HUGE fans. Her Fall 2012 collection didn’t disappoint as usual—rich color tones, python skins, and sophisticated silhouettes were strutted down the runway all while Theophilis London rocked the fashion crowd. RM is always on point for the modern city girl on the go. Love Love! Check out the vid…
Hola peeps! Happy Friday! New York Fashion Week is officially underway and here is my top designer pick from yesterday which was Day 1—BCBG. Max Azria’s collection consisted of vibrant colors, flowy colorblocked garbs, fur and tone-toned trench coats. I think that this collection is very wearable for the everyday woman and the price points aren’t that bad to be designer. Take a look and share your thoughts. Enjoy!
