Hola peeps! I hope that you are enjoying your holiday weekend with family, friends and good food! Today I wanted to share a look that I styled, which would be perfect to wear to those weekend bbqs. The warm temps are here to stay for a while therefore it is important to protect yourself from the harmful sun rays **wear sunscreen** and a woven fedora is a stylish way to shield your hair, face and skin as well. **I have been on the prowl for the right fedora for me but I have had no luck. They are either too small of just doesn’t work right with my hair. I am trying to push myself into wearing more hats during the summer or at all for that matter but it is slow going. My search continues and I will keep you posted.** A lightweight sundress, espadrilles, embroidered clutch and minimal jewelry are all on point to brave the weather, remain comfy and still look cute. Finally sunshine and warm weather is making an appearance here in NYC and since Memorial Day weekend is the unofficial kickoff to summer let’s get to it! Your sass today will take you from the beach to the BBQ. Hola! Currently I am obsessing over the color Coral. It all started with a fresh pedi **done professionally by moi…lol** and now I am on to a mani all while frantically searching for clothing in the hue. Coral is one color that compliments all skin tones and is said to bring about a calm, warm feeling/mood. With that thought in mind I styled the set “Sweet Summer Sass” around the color with neutral, peaceful and nature-inspired pieces to compliment it. Super sweet….enjoy!

Hola peeps! I hope that your Saturday is going great. The wet/chilly weather is still here in NYC and nothing can soothe me except knowing that warmer temps will eventually come. Since Spring has yet to make an appearance **i have doubts that it will** I am jumping directly into summer shopping. Here is a look that I have put together as a “Summer Essentials” checklist of items that I want to add to my wardrobe.
1) Color–hence the bright-colored big bag/sandals
2) Cool but timeless accessories- aviators never go out of style and looks great on just about anyone; a white round-face leather watch is chic and will take you through the entire season
3) Mineral-based make-up- products that allows your skin to breathe and not feel heavy is ideal for a fresh, flawless summer face (bareMinerals is my fave!)
4) Blouson Dress- perfect for camouflaging problem areas yet still allow you to move with ease and look cute
5) Comfortable heeled sandal- step it up a notch in a cute gladiator high-heel sandal (3″ is my limit)

Hola! I hope that your weekend has been going great. Since the temps are starting to warm up a bit I am looking forward to shedding the layers and getting out of hibernation mode. Here is a look that I put together and I think that it would be perfect for a Sunday brunch date with the girls or your guy. The soft color palette is easy to wear, flowers add a sweet touch and metallic oxfords brings a cool vibe. Cute, right?
