Kate YoungHola peeps!  Stylist to the stars Kate Young and Target have teamed up for this next capsule collection that is set to debut on April 14th.  She was recently on The Hollywood Reporter‘s list of top stylists; it was only a matter of time before she transitioned over into the design world.  This collaboration with Target is a perfect way to start.  The collection consists of special occasion dresses, jewelry and shoes that will have you ready to hit the next  fête!  Take a peek below and if you can’t wait until Sunday then go here for the complete lookbook.  Happy Shopping!

Fashion Insider on the Move—June Ambrose Footwear on HSN

Hola peeps!  We all know June Ambrose as a stylist to the stars—Diddy, Jay-Z, Mary J. Blige to name a few.  Now she can add shoe designer to her resume because on March 22nd June Ambrose for Theme will be launching on HSN!  The collection will consist of bright colors, bold patterns/prints in suede and leather skins.  It doesn’t matter if you are love flats, wedges or heels because she has you covered.  There is no need to worry about breaking your bank as prices range from $59 to $120 and HSN has installment plans if needed (score).

Fashion Insider on the Move—Journalist: Claire Sulmers

Hola!  We’re kicking off a new segment on SNC—Fashion Insider on the Move.  Expect to see features of up and coming journalists, stylists, designers, artists and more that are on the move.  I thought that this would be a great way to highlight the stories of women and men in the industry.  I suggest new fashion school grads, transitional workers and the curious to take note because this segment is for you.  

The first to be featured is journalist Claire Sulmers.  The Harvard grad is the editor in chief of the Fashion Bomb Daily and I just adore the site!  She covers fashion, celebs, interviews and more all with women of color in mind.  Check out the video to hear this fashion insider dish the inside scoop on how she is on the move.  Enjoy!
