Hola! Not to long ago it was announced that Solange x Puma was collaborating on a sneaker line. The fashionista curated The Girls of Blaze collection all while styling true to the Puma athletic spirit. Look out for brightly colored fresh kicks in stores for the holiday season! Take a peek.
I am no sneakerhead but I think that adding a pair of these to my closet my add a bit of pep to my step. What are your thoughts…a go or no?
Hola peeps! A few weeks ago I attended Nolcha Fashion Lounge which was held a few days after Nolcha Fashion Week. There I met the owner and team of the clothing company- Straight to The League. I think their About Us section explains what they do best: “Straight To The League is a clothing company… that’s NOT about obligations, titles or regrets! We are movement that promotes greatness on all levels and the mentality and mindset that says; I can accomplish anything!”
What caught my attention where the super soft organic cotton tees. The team informed me that a portion of the proceeds from that collection is donated to a charity. Doesn’t that just warm your heart? Well it definitely warms mine! Take a peek at some of them below.
Also ladies no need to fret because we can shop the brand too; they have League Lady especially for us. I am really happy to see a line that is socially aware with cool designs and great price points. Straight to the League is definitely a Fashion Insider on the Move—>Congrats!
Hola! As of late there has been several shakeups in the magazine business; Eva Chen is the new editor of Lucky, Kristine Welker was recently named vice president, publisher and chief revenue officer of Dr. Oz magazine and now Shiona Turini is going to Cosmo. If you do not know who she is then you have been living under a fashion rock!
Turini’s professional resume features some of the most sought after magazine jobs in industry–she was fashion market and beauty director at CR Fashion Book. Previous to that she held the position of accessories director at Teen Vogue and before that her role was accessories market editor at W. Wow—I live my fashion life vicariously through her! She is always on the scene and being papped in the finest digs, I just know that she will attribute a cool new vibe to the magazine.
I can’t wait to see what she has in store as it may make me an avid Cosmo reader once again. Congrats Shiona!
Hola! Happy Friday! We all remember how shoe-crazy Carrie Bradshaw was on SATC, she loved her Manolos. Well it is only befitting that Sarah Jessica Parker team up with the famed designer to create her own shoe line perfectly named—SJP. Yippy! The pumps and flats (a little less extravagant than Carrie’s collection) will be sold exclusively at Nordstrom early next year and will be priced between $200-$300.
It doesn’t end there, Sarah Jessica and George Malkemus, the CEO of Manolo Blahnik will also be launching a line of handbags and trench coats. The bags will sell at under $700. This is what she told Vogue about the collection:
“We’re putting new colors together that people don’t typically do, just beautiful combinations that you wish existed in your closet,” Parker told Vogue.com.
I don’t think that this is a handbag from her collection but it surely is cute with the personalized monogram.
Are you as excited as we are? I can’t wait to see the collection. Read more: http://www.nydailynews.com/life-style/fashion/sarah-jessica-parker-launching-shoe-line-article-1.1365997#ixzz2VYNa582L
