Hola peeps! Today I’m digging the much-anticipated collaboration between Isabel Marant and H&M. It officially drops tomorrow Nov. 14th although they did have a special press shopping day yesterday (no I didn’t get an invite womp!). If you plan to hit up the store be prepared to wait in line and brave the crowds because I am sure that it will be insanity! However if you can’t tolerate that (I can’t) charge up your laptop, iPad or smartphone and shop online starting at 12 pm. To get you started I created this set with some key pieces from the collection which I am sure to go quick. Happy Shopping!
Hola! Earlier this week I was lucky enough to attend Styled for Fall: Fossil at VOGUE. I must admit I squealed at the thought of going to the Vogue offices (so Carrie Bradshaw-ish)! As soon as I walked in I was warmly greeted and noticed the wonderful display of handbags and accessories. There were pops of color, leopard print and flashes of metallic! Fossil is definitely becoming more fashion forward which is a great move for the brand.
After the presentation we were able to use the clothing they pulled from the VOGUE closet and style them with Fossil accessories. The challenge was: Seeing Spots-accessorize with animal prints, Stack in Style-mix and match bracelets and Heat Things Up-add bold warm hues to your wardrobe. Take a peek at the look I styled and let me know what you think.
This was such a fun event! I wish much more success to Fossil and look forward to attending more events with VOGUE! If you are yearning for more check out Instagram and Twitter using these hashtags #FossilStyle and #FossilatVOGUE. Enjoy!
Hola! We are still going strong with Nolcha Fashion Week recaps, next up is designer Claire Farwell London. She started her career as a model and actress in her home country of England; Claire has also appeared in commercials and movies worldwide. Aside from being super talented she is also a breast cancer survivor and advocate. The brand’s philosophy is “Designed for the practical, cheeky & classy woman who lives life & tells her story through Claire Farwell London fashion”. Her collection is the epitome of sophistication and fun! Check it out below and share your thoughts.

Hola peeps! Happy Friday—we made it through another NYFW! While my work is never done *I’m still working on reviews* I couldn’t forget today’s sass—Ode to 3.1 Phillip Lim. His stellar RTW Spring 2014 show and upcoming Target collaboration (debuting on Sept. 15th) has been the talk of fashion week. I styled this set with a bit of old and new 3.1 Phillip Lim pieces. Take a peek and let me know your thoughts. Enjoy!
Hola! We are still going strong with fashion week and today’s featured designer is the always fab Alice + Olivia. I just adore their collection, it is vibrant, chic and cool! Designer Stacey Bendet states that “white is the new black” and it shows in this collection. There is a little of everything from girly embellished dresses, to sporty denim jackets and chic silhouettes—nothing was left untouched. Take your time and browse the line, you will definitely fall in love!
Which look was your fave? Do tell. Want more? Go here…enjoy!
Hola! New York Fashion Week is still going strong and today I’m highlighting another SNC designer fave—Mara Hoffman. Her designs always consist of bright colors, blended textures and cool silhouettes; this collection wasn’t any different. Take peek and share your thoughts.

Hola peeps! No matter how much I miss being on vacation, I truly missed blogging and you guys! Well, enough on that later because New York Fashion Week is here! First up is one of my fave designers—Rebecca Minkoff. Let’s dive right in shall we!
The show was very vibrant and festive just like the clothing that came down the runway. There was a huge nod to latin culture with embroidery, lace and eyelet details. The models wore their hair in milkmaid braids which reminded me of Freida Kahlo.
The juxtaposition of soft fabrics and sporty silhouettes were perfect. This yellow lace skirt with the mesh baseball/bomber style jacket is right up my alley! The accessories were fab as well—especially the tasselled pumps and cutout lace-up sandals.
Watch the complete show below and enjoy the funky sounds of singer Janelle Monàe. Enjoy!
Hola! Last month I was invited to Nanette Lepore’s showroom for a press preview of their Resort 2014 collection and I couldn’t have been happier. I adore the brand and what she represents in the fashion industry. Lepore is one of the few designers that believes in and supports the diminishing Fashion Ave industry here in NYC. Whereas a lot of designers take their production overseas she does her best to make sure that the majority of clothing is USA made *respect*. This collection was vibrant, fun and had a bit of a global influence. There were so many pieces that I wanted that to take home. Take a look for yourself!

Hola! A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to attend a press preview of Jade & Jasper Fall/Winter 2013/2014 collection. In 2001 a passionate designer created a collection of jewelry for woman to express their unique style; she continued designing for large companies but grew tired and branched out on her own. Fast forward to 2011 and Jade & Jasper the company was born. Their mission statement explains it all— “Jade & Jasper’s mission is to delight you with our unique and quality fashion jewelry and allow you to add spark to your wardrobe.” I like the sound of that and you can get these fab jewels at great prices! The following new collection ranges from $18 to $158. Take a peek!
All of the collections are great but my personal fave is Free Spirit. It fits my personal style as I love shiny, gaudy (in a good way) and chunky jewels. Mixed materials along with big colorful stones create a bit of a bohemian vibe but is still pulled together. The best part is this set can be dressed up with a cocktail dress or paired down with a white tee, boyfriend jeans and strappy heels.
If you would like to see more images of the collection go here or feel free to spy on my instagram page *I went crazy with the pics*. You can’t go wrong because there is something for everyone regardless of age, style or class. I challenge you to stand out from the crowd and express your femininity with Jade & Jasper. Now go shop!
Hola peeps! I blame the past holiday weekend for my lack of posts *sorry* however I hope that you had a good one! Back to business today and first up is the gorgeous Jennifer Lopez gracing the cover of W magazine. I adore her as a brunette, the dark color really highlights her features. She looked fall appropriate in a Gucci dress, Cartier at Macklowe Gallery earrings and a Bulgari ring. Love! Do you?
