Fave Photo of the Week—Teyana Taylor by Lance Gross

Hola!  For awhile I have been seeing random pics taken by the actor turned photographer Lance Gross.  Yesterday I was browsing the web and stumbled upon this pic taken by him of Teyana Taylor.  This is his/her rendition of Janet Jackson’s Sept 1993 Rolling Stones cover—fab!  Ms. Jackson also used the same pic for her ‘Janet’ album cover.

I think that Lance did a great job capturing the moment; Teyana nailed it with the curlz and that toned body!  What are your thoughts?

Monday’s Muse—Lauren Von der Pool

Willow-smithHola peeps!  I hope that you had a fab weekend.  As for myself I’ve been officially bitten by the Olympics bug!  Sorry but I love the games—all of them!  Almost as much as I adore seeing the camaraderie amongst the teammates, countries and fans—gotta love world unity!

Now back to the muse at hand the gorgeous and talented chef Lauren Von der Pool.  Her speciality is vegan and exotic raw food cuisine.  You may recognize her, as she is one of the chef’s behind First Lady Michelle Obama‘s Let’s Move! campaign.  She is also the CEO/founder of a Green non-profit proudly named Von Der Pool Gourmet & Healthy Living Services Inc. There Lauren uses her renowned chef skills to teach inner city communities about healthy living and agricultural awareness.  If that isn’t enough her time is also split as the CEO/Executive Chef of Von Der Pool Gourmet, Inc. where they offer electrical food classes, health consultations, private chef services, weekly meal plans and more.

Oh you know that I adore her hair—actually that is what initially drew me to her.  The cut, color, and curlz <3

This is one chef that is hot in and out of the kitchen.  Are you loving today’s muse–do tell?

Friday Sass—Style Me Pretty

Hola!  Finally it’s Friday!  I hope that you have lots in store for a fab weekend and to kick it off here is a bit of sass—Style Me Pretty featuring Jennifer Lopez.  I adore the comfort of throwing on a maxi dress with sandals yet there are times when you want to dress up and look pretty.  This look is perfect for that night when you want to do just that!  A Herve Leger dress is what you need to hug curves, diamond studs add elegance, Casadei platform pumps for sex appeal and topped off with Deseo perfume by JLO herself for a dash of sass. POW!  Pretty and all that!  Enjoy your weekend :-)

Can we all pause while I do a happy dance..haha!  Seriously this is major and I hope that Target and Neiman Marcus manages this well, by this I mean—amp up your server so there are no online shopping issues, please stock/restock the stores properly and set a purchase limit per customer.  I am sorry but every single time there is a designer collab with Target people get crazy, buy out the store and unfortunately some folks gets left out *ME*.

On that note who’s down?  Will you be shopping on Dec 1st?  Do tell…
