Monday’s Muse—Halloween Halle

Hola peeps!  I hope that you had a fab weekend, as mine was pretty cool.  Dinner, drinks and a little shoe shopping filled my birthday weekend.  It was all good and now back to work!  Today’s muse is gorgeous Halle Berry.  I chose her since it is Halloween and she was such a badass Catwomen that it just fits the mood.  That would definitely be my costume choice ONLY if my abs were as tight as hers in that outfit…haha.  Oh and let’s not forget that awhile ago she was letting her curlz flow with long extensions.  Check out the pics below.

What your plans for Halloween?  What are you dressing up as?  Do tell…

On My Radar—Sequins

Hola peeps!  I hope that your weekend is going great.  Just sharing today what has been on my radar as of late—Sequins!  I don’t know what it is but I blame the upcoming holiday season that is peaking my interest for all things sparkly.  Here are a few options that I feel can be worn at any time and almost anywhere.

To rock these dresses (White- Alice + Olivia and Gold- Gryphon) during the day pair them with a structured cropped blazer/jacket, opaque tights and a chunky platform heel similar to the one the model is wearing or these by Theyskens’ Theory.  For a night out simply ditch the blazer and tights, add a strappy stiletto and finish it off with a fab envelop clutch.

BB Dakota Royale Sequined Jacket

The sequined pants by Alice + Olivia were the first to catch my eye, love that they are flared.  These are perfect when styled with a high platform heel, a rich deep burgundy turtleneck like Rachel Pally’s here.  Throw on a big floppy hat and a hobo bag for a laid-back 70s vibe to finish your day look.  These pants at night are showstoppers period.  The styling options are endless so wear them how you see fit.  As for the silver jacket **which reminds me of the Soul Train Disco ball but in a good way** is so versatile.  Skinny jeans, a leather mini like this cute one by Parker, or a maxi dress can all be paired with this fab coverup.

H&M Dragon Tattoo Collection

Hola peeps!  I hope that your week is going great.  I am sharing a new video today (thanks to Barracuda Film & TV for sending) —H&M Dragon Tattoo Collection.  Exciting I know—I suppose it would be more exciting had I read the book “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo”.  However, it has been on my list for a while and I am even more eager to pick it up since the movie is coming out this Christmas and now the collection—I’m on it!

Trish Summerville, the costume designer for the film has created a women’s collection that is pretty dark and badass (it fits).  You will see in the video leather jackets, dark colors, and torn jeans all of which were inspired by the films anti-heroine, Lisbeth Salandar.   H&M is becoming one of my fave stores for on trend items; from Versace and now this collection they are on a roll!  Enjoy!

**The H&M Dragon Tattoo Collection debuts exclusively at the agenda-setting boutique “Colette” in Paris on November 28th. It is available worldwide starting December 14th in H&M / Divided departments, as well as online.

Monday’s Muse—Bre Joyner

Hola!  Welcome to another work week!  I am determined to make it a good one **b-day week** so let’s get it cracking with today’s muse—Bre Joyner.  The gorgeous model hails from Kansas City and has been taking the modeling world by storm for a few years now.  You may recognize her from Neyo’s 2009 video “Part of the List” playing the part of his ex-girlfriend.  What caught me of course were those beautiful curlz!  I love her hair!  Do you?

The New Yorker

Hola!  I see the weekend on the horizon…yippy!  I styled this set—The New Yorker as an ode to StylePantry  whom can do no wrong in my book.  Her style is always on point as she seem to flawlessly be able to mix prints and patterns like no other.  Oh and the hair—well it speaks for itself.  Even though she is a Cali chica there is a hint of a New York vibe in this ensemble.  Love Love!
