Hola! This past hot and sticky Friday evening I had the opportunity to attend the fun Women’s Mafia Fashionable Friday Beauty & Styling Event. This was held at the fab and very welcoming Arrojo Salon. I had a blast as there was hair styling tutorials done by top Arrojo salon stylists (www.arrojostudio.com), a ”Spa Wars” book reading and lashes done by Lora Condon (www.makeupwithme.com), and jewelry viewing by J. Rudy Lewis (www.jrudylewis.com).
Everyone was very nice and had a great time. Thanks to Marcy Clark (Founder, The Women’s Mafia), NYC Fashion Bloggers, and Nick Arrojo for such a great event.

I love the first photo especially. What a wonderful rainbow of women! Why some people bemoan the beauty of a diverse nation rather than embrace it is just so sad.
