Hola and TGIF!  On Wednesday I had the opportunity to attend the launch of Bob Mackie Art, the first series of his fashion and costume illustrations to be sold.  This event was awesome!  We were greeted by warm and very informative hostesses with big smiles.  Upon entering the room the walls were adorned with the gorgeous illustrations.

The first series is composed of 46 illustrations, matted or framed, as well as in two sizes.  Upon seeing the images up close the words that immediately came to mind was bold, fantasy and detail.  You knew that this was the work of a true artist and craftsman that took pride in what they do.

Bob Mackie has been nominated and won many awards for his fashion expertise **he has worked with Cher, Diana Ross and Beyoncé to name a few**, yet the one he is most proud of is his induction into the Television Academy Hall of Fame **he is the only designer there**.  Lucky enough for me as a courtesy the Bob Mackie team allowed me to choose one for my very own.  I listed my pick at the bottom but look at all pics first and see if you can guess which one is coming home to mama!  Enjoy!

So which one do you think I chose?  You guessed right if you picked “Urban Safari“!  Prior to the event I looked up the illustrations and instantly fell in love with this one.  It screamed SASSNCURLZ….haha!  To see more go to www.bobmackie.com.
