Hola peeps!  I hope all is good with you.  We are all aware of the tragic storms and tornados that hit the south on Wednesday I want to just extend my prayers out to all the people that were affected.  Hailing from VA myself, I have a special spot in my heart for all southerners.  The news is reporting daily that not only lives, but also homes and all personal belongings have been lost in the hardest hit areas.  I know that I have readers from the south so it is only right that I post this to help spread the word for all survivors.  Here are a few links to sites where you can go to donate funds, food, personal items or just volunteer your time to pitch in.  Please just pause for a moment and share this info with your family and friends.

-Visit www.redcross.org or call 1-800-RED-CROSS, and people can also text the word “REDCROSS” to 90999 to make a $10 donation. Contributions may also be sent to local American Red Cross chapters or to the American Red Cross, P.O. Box 37243, Washington, DC 20013.

-Georgia- The Pickens County Sheriff’s Office is collecting items for those affected by the storms.

They are looking for the following:

• Bottled Water

• Non-Perishable Food Items

• Toiletries

• Clothing of all types

• Bedding

• Tarps

These can be dropped off at the Sheriff’s Office at 2985 Camp Road in Jasper. The phone number there is (706)-253-8900.

However, they are only asking for people who live in the area to bring donations. The sheriff’s office said there are many emergency workers in the area and the traffic is making things very difficult.

**Please help if you can.  Thanks!
