Hola peeps! I hope that you enjoyed your long weekend. As for me I have been busy—wrapped up #NYFW so I am currently working on posts and editing pics to share. Stay tuned as a lot more is on the way!
On to today’s muse—Tempestt Bledsoe. The Cosby Show was one of my faves back in the day and even now *watch reruns*. I remember watching and thinking that the Cosby kids were so cool, they all had great style and were so relatable. Along with style they also had lots of great hair—Tempestt aka Vanessa Huxtable was no stranger to showcasing her various hairstyles every week on the show. She rocked a weave, braids, straight and natural hair. Now all grown-up it seems that she has decided on remaining natural and it looks fab. Her tresses are thick and appear very strong—love love! Don’t you agree?

Hola peeps! My hair has been going through changes this winter season—sometimes I love it then again not so much. When time permits I try to implement different styles and products into my daily routine yet my hair *IMO* needs a bit of new life. As my frustration continues to build my fairy Hairmother looked out for me with the hairsaver—curlBOX. Never heard of them? Hola! Thandie Newton is looking fab in a Temperly London dress and Jimmy Choo heels at the premiere of her new movie Good Deeds. I am sure that you can guess my fave part of this look—her hair! It appears that she may have been wearing a WNG that she swept up in a loose front curly bun. This is definitely a look that can easily be replicated. I give her entire look a 10! Hola! I hope you all have enjoyed the fashion week ride as it is coming to an end here in NY. However, not without my last designer pick—Oscar de la Renta. I took one look and all I could say was WOW! The use of beautiful fabrics/textiles—fur, tweed, knits and let’s not forget the color—soft pink, baby blue, bright yellow simply blew me away. The entire collection has a touch of vintage Oscar yet with a feel of a young fashion forward woman. The pretty models **I spy Joan Smalls, Anais Mali, and Jordan Dunn** all adorned a neatly tucked coif with a flawless nude face.
Mr. de la Renta is a force to be reckoned with and the fashion industry respects that. There aren’t many designers that has the staying power and is able to remain true to their brand yet advance into the future. Love it!

Hola peeps! We are quickly approaching the end of fashion week, tomorrow is the last day…boooo! As tiring as it can be NYFW is one of my fave times of the year in the city. However, don’t fret because I am attending Couture Fashion Week and Don’Christian Laurence shows this weekend so stay tuned.
Moving along to today’s designer pick—Zac Posen. I adore his designs so much because they are always ultra-glam! His Fall 2012 collection gave us just that with a lean towards the East with an asian inspired theme; gorgeous gowns in luxe fabrics and colors seem to float down the runway. I envision many celebs will be adorned in a Posen frock come award season in the Fall. Love love. Enjoy!

Hola peeps! I would like to wish you all a very Happy Valentine’s Day! I know many think of V-Day as a made-up holiday to make more money for card companies, yet my take on it is slightly different. To me Valentine’s Day is all about showing the people in your life that you love and appreciate them. I know spreading love shouldn’t be reserved for one day, however if Feb 14th is the only day you dish it or take it—then go for it! Life is short—Live. Laugh. Love.

Hola! Today is the 5th day of NYFW and we are still going strong! However, let’s take a peek at my fave from day 4—Diane Von Furstenberg. I must first say that Ms. DVF looked fab on the runway, chic as always. This collection is much different from what we are used to seeing from her; as there were tons of color-blocking, puzzle pieces prints, and leather elbow length gloves all stood out on the runway. I am lusting over all of the brights! I say why wait until Fall I see these color combos in my Spring wardrobe line-up. What are your thoughts?
